摘要: Abstract Objectives To investigate the therapeutic effects of suburothelial botulinum A toxin for patients with chronic cerebrovascular accident (CVA) and spinal cord lesions. Suburothelial injection can effectively inhibit occurrence neurogenic detrusor overactivity. Methods Twenty-four overactivity refractory to anticholinergics were enrolled treated 200 U injected into space. The clinical on lower urinary tract symptoms urodynamic parameters assessed. Results Of 24 in study, 12 had CVA suprasacral lesions (SCLs). After treatment, volume first involuntary contraction bladder capacity increased twofold postvoid residual fourfold both patient groups after 1 month, decreasing slightly at 3 months. pressure SCL group decreased significantly treatment (39.1 ± 16.6 versus 21.2 14.1, P = 0.002) relative patients. Complete continence improvement incontinence grade achieved (8.3%) 5 (41.7%) 4 (33.3%) 7 (58.3%) SCLs. However, experienced an increase voiding difficulty treatment. effect declined gradually months, all symptom relapse by 6 Conclusions a dose improved 91.6% SCL, but this was only 50% CVA.
