摘要: Childhood obesity is rapidly increasing in Hawai‘i and the United States.1 Recent research indicates that changes food built environment may be contributing to this increase obesity.2 While individual behavior change programs are important, populationbased strategies needed. The Centers for Disease Control Prevention has identified policy environmental as a key component stopping epidemic.3 However, most public health practitioners cannot directly policies or environments. Other methods needed influence decision makers. One potential tool influencing development of coalitions.
