摘要: The prediction of suicide remains a major challenge for health professionals. Sociodemographic predictors the risk lack specificity: factors such as living alone, being unemployed, or having physical mental illness are common, separately in combination, but is rare. Psychiatric conditions, depression, alcohol dependence, schizophrenia and personality disorders, strongly associated with suicide, most psychiatrically ill patients do not suicide.
