摘要: As a precursor of the practical catalyst to utilize solid base catalysis calcium oxide for biodiesel production, crushed lime stone whose size ranged from 1.0 1.7 mm was used in this study. The turned into by only calcination at 1173 K. At 333 K under atmospheric pressure, rapeseed oil transesterified with methanol presence catalyst, on laboratory scale pilot plant characterized batch unit consisting circulating stream passing through column reactor. In early trial, yield fatty acid methyl esters (FAME) produced after 2 h around 60%. Moreover, reactor blocked up due serious agglomeration when reaction time extended an extra hour. These drawbacks were hurdled improving reacting condition. result, FAME reached 96.5% time, and good efficiency went successive 10 operations, without exchanging catalyst. However, 11th operation, gradually deteriorated. After transesterifying operation successively repeated 17 times, withdrawn order investigate its deactivation. Additionally, transesterification waste cooking performed same manner.
