Cognitive and health measures following early nutritional supplementation: a sibling study.

摘要: A battery of cognitive measures, an adjustment measure, and multiple health indices were obtained for sibling pairs who differed in the timing their participation Special Supplemental Food Program Women, Infants, Children (WIC) several years earlier, with during perinatal period occurring one sibling, but after year age other. Results indicated that perinatally supplemented group showed significant enhancement most intellectual behavioral measures current home school setting, including IQ, attention span, visual-motor synthesis, grade-point average when compared later. Of assessments, trends expected direction, only height values significantly different two groups.
