摘要: The light microscopy and ultrastructure of a malignant eipthelioid schwannoma are described. Characteristic cells resembling perineural elements with various degrees differentiation were observed. Primitive epithelioid contained scant ergastoplasm, few tubules filaments, but did have abundant free ribosomes Golgi membranes. Also noted junctional complexes focal fusion plasma membranes, basal laminae absent. Better differentiated completely limited by well-developed membrane had an abundance intracytoplasmic filaments multiple pinocytotic vesicles. intercellular ground substance was composed numerous fine collagen fibrils amorphous, basement membrane-like, electron-dense material. A striking ultrastructural similarity the tumor to those encountered in ethylnitrosourea-induced schwannomas rats noteworthy.
