摘要: A malignant epithelioid schwannoma of the oral cavity was diagnosed in an 8-year-old domestic short-hair cat. The mass located gingiva upper left premolar to molar region and showed multinodular growth patterns. comprised cells arranged densely packed sheets. Tumor had large, round oval nuclei with prominent nucleoli abundant eosinophilic cytoplasm. Immunohistochemically, most tumor were positive for S-100 protein, glial fibrillary acidic protein vimentin, but all lacked melanoma-associated antigen muscle neuroendocrine markers. Stains type IV collagen linear immunoreactivity around single groups cells. Ultrastructurally, separated by a well-defined basement membrane, interdigitating cell processes observed. To our knowledge, this is first report feline schwannoma.
