摘要: Peripheral nerve sheath tumours (PNSTs) are neoplastic growths derived from Schwann cells, perineural cells or both. Malignant PNSTs (MPNSTs) uncommon in domestic animals. This report describes the concomitant occurrence of a 10-year-old female cocker spaniel with clinical history respiratory impairment. Grossly, there was large infiltrative mass caudal lobe right lung; smaller nodules were observed other lobes lung. Furthermore, small encapsulated cutaneous nodule on left hindlimb. Histopathology pulmonary revealed proliferation pleomorphic spindle-shaped moderate mitotic index arranged interwoven bundles and concentric Antoni A B patterns; invasion adjacent tissue observed. The consisted mesenchymal whorls, but without marked anisokaryosis, binucleation growth seen tumour. Immunohistochemistry that both immunoreactive for vimentin, glial fibrillary acidic protein S100 protein, negative factor VIII. These findings indicative MPNST lung benign PNST limb. case represents first primary dog. should be included differential diagnosis malignant dogs.
