摘要: Protection of biometric data is gaining interest and digital watermarking techniques are used to protect the from either accidental or intentional attacks. Among various biometrics, fingerprints more famous in authentication area, as they unique each person mainly for establishment instant personal identity. However, susceptible attacks, when transmitted over network. Thus, a protective scheme needed which will preserve fidelity prevent alterations. This paper considers two that protects fingerprint using techniques. Both discussed based on Discrete Wavelet Transformation (DWT). From experimental results, it can be concluded both provide adequate security without degrading visual quality. Further, verification performance after dewatermarking also analyzed.
