摘要: We examined the role played by temperature in duration of incubation and sex ratio green turtle hatchlings at Ascension Island, one most important rookeries Atlantic. Temperature control sites nest depth 39 nests was measured using small recording devices. The ascertained a sub-sample monitored allowing description relationship between intranest hatchling ratio, demonstrating pivotal 28.8°C. seasonal profile produced on all nesting beaches Island estimated, showing that female-biased would be expected with female:male order 3:1. use temperature, air sand sites, as proxies to estimate are discussed.
