摘要: Abstract Introduction The ambulance care setting is complex and unpredictable the personnel must prepare for upcoming assignments. Prehospital emergency nurses (PENs), are frequently exposed to critical incidents (CIs). There are, our knowledge, no prior studies describing experiences of requirements management caring a patient during CI in context. Therefore, aim study was explore PENs’ CIs. Method A qualitative research design with content analysis has been used, based on semi-structured interviews eleven PENs Sweden. Results can be described as: “In incident, personal ability experiential knowledge central care”. Three generic categories underpinned main category: “Clinical expertise”, “Professional approach” “Broad base”. Conclusions given depends knowledge. Employers need build an organization providing prerequisites support CI. Suggested activities create forums share each other, possibility get feedback completed assignments continued training develop new prepared environment that characterizes
