摘要: Well defined graft copolymers are prepared by "grafting from" atom transfer radical polymerization (ATRP) at room temperature (30 °C). The experiments were aimed grafting methacrylates and styrene latent initiating sites of polystyrene. For this purpose, the benzylic hydrogen in polystyrene was subjected to allylic bromination with N-bromosuccinimide azobisisobutrylnitirle generate tertiary bromide ATRP (Br-C-PS). use Br-C-PS lesser mol % groups results better control successful copolymerization. This used synthesize a series new such as PS-g-PBnMA, PS-g-PBMA, PS-g-GMA, PS-g-(PMMA-b-PtBA) catalyzed CuBr/ PMDETA system, bulk, temperature. polymers characterized GPC, NMR, FTIR, TEM, TGA. Graft copolymerization followed block enabled synthesis highly branched polymer brush, which density can be adjusted appropriate choice concentration
