摘要: Objective The aim of this study was to evaluate the potential role angiotensin II (Ang II) AT 2 receptors (AT ) in control blood pressure (BP) rat and effects on BP during AT, receptor (AT,) antagonism. Methods performed 52 Sprague-Dawley rats, which were preliminarily salt-restricted (SR) enhance circulating tissue renin-angiotensin system activity. To explore whether plays a regulation, selective 1 antagonists PD123319 (PD) (50 μg/kg/min) losartan (Los) (10 mg/kg/day), studied. Seven rats used as group. define response observed antagonism, 17 Los treated divided into two groups: seven with both (Los + PD) 10 received vehicle. drugs also studied bilaterally nephrectomized (NX). All treatments maintained for week. Results reduced significantly intact (P < 0.001) NX 0.05) while PD increased (both P 0.001). In group levels higher 0.001 vs vehicle, = ns pretreatment), vehicle infusion did not modify Los. Conclusion results show that blockade offsets BP-lowering effect suggest contribute hypotensive losartan. Thus, such losartan, are becoming widely clinical treatment hypertension, may reduce only by receptors, but through stimulation excess II.
