A phylogenetic framework for evolutionary study of the nightshades (Solanaceae): a dated 1000-tip tree

摘要: Background The Solanaceae is a plant family of great economic importance. Despite wealth phylogenetic work on individual clades and deep knowledge particular cultivated species such as tomato potato, robust evolutionary framework with dated molecular phylogeny for the still lacking. Here we investigate divergence times using densely-sampled species-level phylogeny. We also review fossil record to derive calibration points, estimate chronogram an uncorrelated relaxed clock.
