摘要: Abstract We determined c-erbB-2 protein level in serum of 86 primary lung cancer patients (78 non-small cell carcinomas (NSCLC), 3 small carcinomas, 5 not histologically defined) and 61 controls. Aim this study was to evaluate the clinical usefulness as marker for diagnosis. The measured with a commercially available sandwich enzyme immunoassay. Mean levels were 72.8±122.3fmol/ml cancers 64.6±17.5fmol/ml controls ( P =0.2). No association found between histotype, tumor stage, sex smoking habits. Among NSCLC, only four showed concentration higher than selected cut-off value 99.6fmol/ml. Subjects 75th percentile tumors (73fmol/ml) had shorter median survival those lower (6.3 months versus 10.0 months, =0.003). Our results indicated that is reliable diagnostic marker. There is, however, suggestion possible terms prediction.
