摘要: Background: S100A6, an S100 calcium-binding protein, has been found in a variety of cutaneous and extracutaneous lesions including: melanocytic nevi, melanoma, some salivary gland epithelial tumors, malignant fibrous histiocytoma (MFH). Dermal dendrocytes (DD) the papillary dermis skin also express S100A6 protein. We evaluated fibrohistiocytic to determine if immunophenotype positivity can be expanded include or all these lesions. Methods: Formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissues from papules (FP, 20), dermatofibromas (DF, dermatofibrosarcoma protuberans (DFSP, 5), atypical fibroxanthomas (AFX, oral fibromas (3), digital fibroma (1), dermatomyofibroma (1) were with antibodies S100B, factor XIIIa, MAC387 using one-hour capillary action-based immunohistochemical procedure. Results: DD 20/20 FP, 19/20 DF, 4/4 stained positively anti-S100A6 pattern similar anti-factor XIIIa. No DFSP cases anti-S100A6. Anti-S100A6 showed superior staining XIIIa 4/5 AFX cases. Conclusions: The immunophenotypes With exception AFX, use does not appear offer added benefit over differential diagnosis lesions.
