摘要: Intracranial tuberculoma is one of the rare central nervous system manifestations Mycobacterium tuberculosis (MTB), seen in only 1% patients. It can manifest as single or multiple lesions, most commonly located frontal and parietal lobes. Clinical features are similar to any space-occupying lesion brain present absence MTB symptoms other parts body. In this article, a 69-year-old immunocompetent man, with history treated latent infection (LTBI) was reported. He presented joint arthralgias, weight loss, odd behavior, forgetfulness, intermittent fevers syncope. Brain imaging revealed numerous enhancing intra-parenchymal lesions cerebral cerebellar hemispheres. Patient successfully anti-tuberculosis medications corticosteroids, clinical improvement on future follow ups. High suspicion for differential diagnosis lesion, even patients low prevalence countries, result early successful outcomes.
