摘要: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the outcomes isolated medial patellofemoral ligament (MPFL) reconstruction, regardless presence predisposing factors. A total 21 knees that underwent MPFL reconstruction from March 2014 August 2017 were included in retrospective series. Radiographs series knee at flexion angles 20, 40, and 60 degrees acquired. patellar position evaluated using tilt angle, sulcus congruence angle (CA), Caton-Deschamps Blackburne-Peel ratios. To clinical outcome, preoperative postoperative International Knee Documentation Committee (IKDC) Lysholm scoring scales analyzed. based on factors, results separately analyzed for each group. Regarding radiologic outcomes, 20-degree CA significantly reduced 10.37 ± 5.96° preoperatively −0.94 ± 4.11° postoperatively (p = 0.001). In addition, delta values pre- postoperation not different both groups. IKDC score improved 53.71 (range: 18–74) 94.71 86–100) last follow-up (p = 0.004), 54.28 10–81) 94.14 (p = 0.010). Isolated provides a safe effective treatment instability, even mild such as trochlear dysplasia, increased patella height, TT–TG distance, or valgus alignment. This is Level 4, case study.
