摘要: PURPOSE To investigate in an vitro model whether and to what extent pressure is influenced by aneurysm size. METHODS Latex aneurysms of 3 different volumes (24, 30, 81 mL) were inserted into circulation model. The systemic mean (SP(mean)) was varied from 50 120 mmHg. excluded using a woven polyethylene graft. Aneurysm sac (ASP(mean)) measured. RESULTS In the model, endovascular repair created closed chamber without endoleak but showed relevant pressure. At SP(mean) 80 mmHg, ASP(mean) 42.0+/-0.6 mmHg 24-mL aneurysm, 40.5+/-0.5 30-mL 19.3+/-0.5 81-mL (p<0.05). rose with increasing inversely dependent on volume. CONCLUSIONS This demonstrated that correlated greater volume reduced These data highlight need for further studies regarding endotension.
