摘要: Virus-like particles are a new type of vaccine platform that presents an attractive alternative to more traditional live-attenuated or inactivated/subunit vaccines. (VLP) composed viral structural proteins assemble spontaneously in cells, mimicking the live virus without possibility replication. They readily recognized by immune system, inducing both humoral and cellular responses. Here we review development VLP as delivery systems at mucosal surfaces. We first summarize current status vaccines general, then discuss their use vaccination approaches for several viruses enter host via urogenital, respiratory gastrointestinal tract.
