摘要: We present a case of ophthalmic artery (OA) traumatic avulsion, leading to post-traumatic subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH) with ventricular blood invasion and hydrocephalus, mimicking an internal carotid aneurysm rupture. This is the third such event reported in literature first without orbital fractures optic nerve avulsion. Conservative treatment was sufficient for but surgery needed coexisting eye luxation. Traumatic OA avulsion rare possible should be suspected basal cisterns SAH, evidence trauma CT angiogram or angiographic absence opacification OA.
