摘要: There are no studies that have systematically reviewed the influence of involuntary cigarette smoke inhalation (ICSI) on stability implants. The aim present study was to perform a systematic review and meta-analysis preclinical assessed ICSI osseointegration. Indexed databases (PubMed, Google-Scholar, Scopus, EMBASE, Web Knowledge) were searched till September 2017. Titles abstracts identified using above-described protocol independently screened by 2 authors. Full-texts judged title abstract be relevant evaluated for stated eligibility criteria. Nine included. Six showed compromised bone area contact around In 4 studies, peri-implant mineral density significantly higher in control group than among subjects exposed ICSI. For effects osseointegration dental implants, significant differences could observed bone-to-implant test cancellous (Z=-4.08, p<0.001) cortical (Z=-4.31, respectively. may negatively It is imperative educate patients about negative passive smoking systemic health.
