Accessibility evaluation of top university websites: a comparative study of Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and Turkey

摘要: It is important that university websites and services offered through their sites are used effectively, efficiently satisfactorily by the whole target group of university, including disabled users. However, universities in many countries still unable to meet criteria for web accessibility. This study aimed test top Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan Turkey using automated assessment tools. The results showed more popular Turkey, Turkish developers pay attention performance websites, followed Azerbaijani, Kyrgyz Kazakh universities. majority did not WCAG 2.0 accessibility criteria. Only two attained conformance level A, only three, one Kazakh, achieved AAA. Based on results, it was determined included present need devote effort making accessible
