摘要: Chlorpyriphos is one of the most widely used organophosphate (OP) insecticide in agriculture with potential toxicity. Current post-exposure treatments consist anti-cholinergic drugs and oxime compounds. We studied effects intralipid caffeic acid phenethyl ester (CAPE) on chlorpyriphos toxicity to compose an alternative or supportive treatment for OP poisoning. Methods: Forty-nine rats were randomly divided into seven groups. was administered Intralipid (IL) CAPE immediately after chlorpyriphos. Serum acetylcholinesterase (AChE) level, total oxidant status (TOS), antioxidant response (TAR), histologic examination cerebellum brain tissue Hematoxylin-Eosin immunohistochemical dyes examined. Results: enzym levels showed that inhibited AChE while IL alone had no effect, intensifies inhibition effect. Significant difference at between chlorpyriphos+IL chlorpyriphos+CAPE verified has a protective effect inhibition. TAR significantly increased all groups except group, TOS revealed decrease amount oxidative stress. Histologic neuronal degeneration slightly decreased but significant protection degeneration. Conclusion: The results this study gave us three key points. 1) activity important diagnosis intoxication it value determining neuro-degeneration. 2) inhibits may increase muscarinic-nicotinic hyperactivation. Therefore should not be intoxication. 3) decreases severity neurodegeneration symptoms can as agent.
