摘要: Phoenixin (PNX) is a recently discovered neuropeptide shown to be involved in regulating the reproductive system, anxiety-related behaviors and pain though its receptor still unknown. PNX-14, one of endogenous active isoforms, reported regulate gonadotropin releasing hormone (GnRH) expression GnRH secretion. Because system thought regulation learning memory processes, we hypothesized that PNX-14 might mediate memory. Here, investigated effects using novel object recognition (NOR) location (OLR) tasks. Our results revealed intracerebroventricular (i.c.v.) injection (25nmol) immediately after training not only facilitated formation, but also prolonged retention both The memory-enhancing were seen when it was infused into hippocampus. Moreover, these memory-improving could blocked by antagonist (Cetrorelix). related any on locomotor activity. Additionally, suggested i.c.v. mitigate impairment induced amyloid-β1-42 (Aβ1-42) peptide scopolamine. present indicate facilitates formation prolongs through activation receptor, mitigates memory-impairing Aβ1-42 scopolamine, suggesting may effective as drug for enhancing treating Alzheimer׳s disease.
