摘要: The term autoimmune liver diseases in its common use comprises three types of disorders, namely, hepatitis (AIH), primary biliary cirrhosis (PBC), and sclerosing cholangitis (PSC), as well their overlap syndromes. Previous reports (1,2) indicated an incidence (identified patients) 1 to 2:10.000 for AIH, 1:10.000 PBC, 0.5:10.000 PSC. However, there is a pronounced probability significantly higher case numbers unidentified owing low severity symptoms the early stages, especially PBC PSC also most AIH cases. There predisposition women development (3–4:1 female/ male (9:1), whereas predominantly affects men (1:2).
