摘要: The spectra of electronically excited states strongly polar negative ions are discussed in terms general features that may be predicted for such systems. properties then studied through a systematic treatment lithium halide and hydride anions. Only one or two electronic levels exist these systems, the binding energies so low limited number bound rotational associated with each states. For lowest energies, abnormal level spacings demonstrated. Also, discussion is given implictions electron scattering photodetachment studies, higher lying dipole which cross over into continuum.
