Analytic description of dipole-bound anion photodetachment

摘要: An analytical model for a dipole-bound anion (DBA) is proposed based on the exactly solvable three-dimensional Schroedinger equation excess electron bound by dipole potential of parent neutral molecule (NM) in Born-Oppenheimer approximation. The gives reasonable approximation dependence DBA binding energy NM moment previously found numerically many authors. cross section one-photon photodetachment calculated explicit form. In limit high photon frequency, {omega}, cross-section displays {approx}{omega}{sup -2} behavior, which agrees perfectly with experimental data [Bailey et al., J. Chem. Phys 104, 6976 (1996)]. At threshold, demonstrates Gailitis-Damburg oscillations. Numerical provided maximal value as function and electron.
