摘要: Common bean (Phaseolus vulgaris L.) is sensitive to drought and salinity, while an ancestral legume, tepary (P. acutifolius A. Gray) cultivated successfully where high temperature are common (Lazcano-Ferrat Lovatt, 1999). Hence, P. a potential source of stress tolerant traits for through interspecific hybrids. This study comparatively evaluated the effects salt on leaf relative water content (RWC), soluble protein, phytohormones indole acetic acid (IAA), gibberellic (GA3), zeatin, abscisic (ABA) levels in acutifolius. With exception ABA, stress-induced changes hormonal putatively related tolerance have not been investigated previously either species. Treatment with 50 mM, 100 mM 150 NaCl reduced protein vulgaris, but did affect increased Varietal differences between were also observed during period. ABA salt-treated plants change versus controls. Both IAA gibberellin leaves decreased under stress. In plants, zeatin concentrations within 24–72 h after treatment. However, responded all tested by increasing short-term
