摘要: We present 7.6–13.2 μm infrared spectrophotometry (R 120) of the inner coma comet C/1996 Q1 (Tabur), obtained 1996 October 8–10 UT. At this epoch, was at a heliocentric distance rh = 0.96 AU. The local 10 continuum is fitted with 300 ± K blackbody, revealing weak silicate feature. Our analysis suggests that Tabur most likely contains large grains radii ≈ 1–3 μm. Synthetic spectra derived from laboratory measurements amorphous pyroxene and crystalline olivine grain sizes (radii) between 1 5 are to Tabur's emission A mixture (1 radii) (3 provides best model fit observed spectrum. also compare mid-IR C/1995 O1 (Hale-Bopp) other comets without features. In particular, we discuss spectrum C/1998 K5 (LINEAR) on 1998 June 28–30 UT same instrument spectral resolution. contrast Tabur, LINEAR does not exhibit in excess featureless characterized by 310 blackbody.
