摘要: Comet Wilson was observed from the Kuiper Airborne Observatory approximately 23.6 and 25.7 Apr. 1987, UT (approx. 3 to 5 days after perihelion) using NASA-Ames Faint Object Grating Spectrometer. Spectrophotometric data were with a 21 inch aperture between 13 micrometer spectral resolution of 50 100. Spectra inner coma nucleus reveal fairly smooth continuum little evidence silicate emission. The 8 color temperature comet 300 + or - 15 K, approx. percent higher than equilibrium blackbody temperature. All three spectra show new emission feature at 12.25 two channels (.22 micrometer) wide. Visual photographic observations made during time these showed broad faint, possible component tail. No outburst activity observed. refs.
