摘要: 3 Abstract: Meals are human creation that unconsciously represents the way in which part of world they living and based on culture background. Recently, issue about food is not only how to prepare it but as well get nutritious supporting health from limited natural resources. From this view point, choosing gives an insight nutrition itself cultural environmental factors well. The objective study investigate if biodiversity plays still important role local security sustaining intake a matriarchal system. was done Minangkabau; coastal area, hilly area lake West Sumatera, Indonesia. Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) used intake. Qualitative quantitative research technique include: In-depth interview survey were carried out. data coded clustered by using MAXQDA10. results indicate system playing Minangkabau. mother roles kitchen activity, meal decision land ownership, although she involved directly into farming. increase household diversity or cultivating spices backyard. Thus generates representing women activity play managing farm fork activities.
