摘要: Abstract With a view to use titanium alloys more effectively at elevated temperatures, the oxidation and alpha case formation should be prevented. This can achieved by application of high performance resistant coatings on alloys. A coating, based combination surface modification techniques, electro-deposition pack aluminizing, has been successfully developed protect alloy, IMI 834 from formation. Negligible weight gain elimination during entire exposure period demonstrate superior platinum aluminide coating. The excellent behavior is due protective, adherent continuous alumina scale Based results obtained for both coated uncoated alloys, coating enhance life components fabricated considerably preventing thereby improve efficiency gas turbine compressor sections significantly
