摘要: Because the degree of lymph nodes metastases is most important prognostic factor and recurrence in neck generally incurable, management has become one actively debated topics field head oncology. Treatment neck, i.e., surgical (neck dissection with or without postoperative (chemo)radiotherapy) nonsurgical (irradiation chemotherapy), usually dependent on treatment modality for primary tumor.Elective still subjects under debate. If primarily treated surgically, extent eventual adjuvant (chemo)radiotherapy should be discussed multidisciplinary team. by (chemo)radiation planned salvage are subject to discuss.
