摘要: Abstract Seven subjects collected both left-parotid saliva and the remaining whole simultaneously under resting conditions under“sour-lemon-drop” (SLD) stimulation at five different times each day for spans of 11–17 consecutive days. Leastsquares cosine analysis data demonstrated statistically significant circadian rhythms in estimated flow rates from parotid glands (mean level, 0.13 ± 0.02 ml/min; amplitude, 0.05± 0.01 acrophase, −234.1 5.0 ° [i.e. 3.36 p.m.± 20min.]), rate 0.46 ±0.05 0.15 0.03 −250.2 5.9 °) as well contribution to volume 28.4± 3.6 per cent; 3.5±0.4 −165.9± 19.2 °). Under SLD-stimulation which left was maintained constant 1 ml/min, could not be or proportional saliva.
