摘要: Abstract In this work experimental and theoretical investigations were carried out on a single cylinder, direct injection diesel engine operating different blends of soybean methyl ester (SME) with fuel. The effect blending the cylinder pressure, heat release rate, carbon monoxide (CO), unburned hydrocarbon (UHC), nitrogen oxides (NOx), smoke opacity measured. results indicate that use biodiesel produces lower up to 48.23% 14.65% higher brake specific fuel consumption (BSFC) compared measured CO emissions B20% SME B100% found be 11.36% 41.7% than respectively. All emit significantly UHC concentration over entire load. NOx are observed for all SME. Diesel-rk software good agreement between them is noticed.
