摘要: Use of an in-season measure crop N sufficiency to guide fertilizer management is one approach match the supply demand. This study examined use gene expression in leaf tissue field-grown potatoes for assessment potato sufficiency. Potato cultivar ‘Shepody’ was grown with six rates (0–250 kg N ha–1). Leaf disks were collected weekly quantification uptake/transport, assimilation, and amino acid metabolism genes by nCounter. Many evaluated responsive supply, but response varied widely among sampling dates. The exception ammonium transporter (AT1) which highly expressed, relatively consistent across dates, closely related root zone soil nitrate concentration negatively correlated total tuber yield. level AT1 as good or better than conventional chemical optical measures current study.
