摘要: The significance of bacteria and bacterial-grazing protozoa in the decomposition detritus mineral cycling benthic environment has been excellently reviewed by Fenchel Harrison (1976) Jorgensen (1977) demonstrated a series experiments (1977). In reviewing role nutrient energy flow, Stout (1980) correctly states that there is little information on nutrients planktonic pelagic waters. Although food chain protozooplankton their grazing was recognized Lohmann (1911), only recently it receiving renewed attention (Pomeroy 1974; Sieburth 1976; 1979; et al. 1978; Williams 1981). Such studies require sound taxonomie basis. Contemporary still rely heavily upon late 19th century (e.g., Kent 1880-81; Stokes 1888) early 20th (e.g.. Calkins 1901; Griessman 1914) monographs, although this area enquiry reopened (Fenchel 1982a; Davis Sieburth, unpublished). Before discussing recent developments, first necessary to draw older literature build foundation what known about rhizopods, flagellates ciliates general, before looking at nature situ populations bacterial prey protozoan predators.
