摘要: Management of infants born with ambiguous sex organs requires the close collaboration a team professionals: pediatric endocrinologist, psychologist, gynecologist, and surgeon. The interdisciplinary teamwork group professionals is described in case patient announced at birth as male but within days reannounced reared female. Over next 21 years, she became completely aware her endocrine condition, including its medical classification (male pseudohermaphroditism), chromosomal (46 XY) gonadal (testes) status, early history assignment. clinical management herein helped this person deal effectively condition despite unsuccessful reconstructive vagal surgery.
