摘要: The present paper aims at describing the fine structure of coeloconic sensilla located on cutting valves endophytic ovipositor two Odonata species, anisopteran Aeshna cyanea (Aeshnidae) and zygopteran Ischnura elegans (Coenagrionidae), by carrying out parallel investigations under SEM TEM. In both species these are innervated four unbranched neurons forming outer dendritic segments enveloped dendrite sheath. One terminates base peg a well developed tubular body, while other three enter after interruption cuticle shows an apical pore joint membrane. This last feature, together with body suspension fibers, represent mechanosensory components sensillum dendrites entering allow chemoreception. ultrastructural organization is in agreement one reported for insect gustatory sensilla. Our investigation describes first time typical Odonata. Electrophysiological behavioral studies needed to verify role that structures can perform sensing egg-laying substrata.
