摘要: Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is one of the most prevalent autoimmune diseases worldwide. Some researchers have suggested that serum vitamin D (Vit D) level may relate to disease activity. The current study was designed identify correlation between vitamin D prescription and prevention relapses in rheumatoid arthritis. A double blinded, randomized controlled trial performed using 80 RA patients. RA patients were remission during past 2 months. Serum Vit D studied below 30 ng/dl. Patients randomly allocated receive or placebo. In 6-month follow-up period, Disease Activity Score 28 (DAS28) used case as an index activity compare two groups. flare rate not different groups (p > 0.05). odds ratio decline group compared with control 1.17 (not significant; p > 0.05). mean DAS28 patient significant low identified be a risk factor for severity ups; however, although statistically significant, treatment might clinically effective. Further studies are needed more emphasis on issue cost effectiveness clinical importance provide information.
