摘要: Abstract A scanning densitometry-based method was used to determine absolute surface concentrations and homogeneity of a spray-coating treatment with model dye, 5,8-dihydroxy-[1,4]-naphthoquinone (DHNQ), on hardwood veneers (Beech, Fagus sylvatica; Birch, Betula pendula; Oak, Quercus alba). An automatic TLC sampler sprayed accurately known amounts several DHNQ as rectangles the surface. Scanning then acquire color intensities each rectangle. After an adequate data treatment, three models – Michaelis-Menten two logarithmic were selected fit obtained deposited concentrations. Based quality residuals, is examined in detail this work. The validated by comparing expected back-calculated ones, produced correct results acceptable error within ±20%. applicability shown specimen. By our widely applied techniques, CIELAB system x-ray fluorescence, we demonstrated that densitometry advantageous it measures concentration, also coatings containing atoms lighter than silicon. In production, can be adapted from current technologies would quickly control coated wood, or any other surface, good sensitivity.
