摘要: OBJECTIVE To determine whether voxel-based morphometry of the cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) space can accurately differentiate iNPH from other related neurological disorders. METHODS Nineteen patients with surgically proven and 24 Alzheimer's disease (AD), 18 Parkinson's (PD), 14 healthy elderlies were examined. Regions interest (ROIs) in ventricular/sylvian (VS) high convexity/midline (HCM) areas used VBM, differences CSF volume within these ROIs among 4 groups examined. RESULTS The relative VS-ROI group (.64) was significantly higher than that AD, PD, control (.26, .29, .17, respectively; P < .001), whereas HCM-ROI reduced (.10) (.17, .16, respectively) (P .001). Furthermore, ratio 2 (VS/HCM) markedly (6.87) (1.65, 1.74, .97, sensitivity specificity .89 1.00, respectively. CONCLUSIONS The VBM-based analysis detect disproportionate changes those AD or PD accurately.
