摘要: Scope This study explores the beneficial effects of dietary supplementation black rice anthocyanin extract (BRAE) on cholesterol metabolism and gut dysbiosis. Methods results C57BL/6J mice are grouped into normal chow diet group (NCD), high-fat (HCD), three treatment groups feeding HCD supplemented with various dosage BRAE for 12 weeks. Results reveal that alleviates increased body weight, serum triglyceride (TG), total (TC), non-high-density lipoprotein levels (non-HDL-C), fecal sterols excretion caecal short-chain fatty acids (SCFAs) concentration in HCD-induced hypercholesterolemic mice. Moreover, decreases hepatic TC content through fundamental regulation energy balance gene, adenosine 5'-monophosphate activated protein kinase α (AMPKα). Meanwhile, improves genes expression involved uptake efflux, preserves CYP7A1, ATP-binding cassette subfamily G member 5/8 mRNA expression, relative abundance microbiota. Additionally, antibiotic experiment indicates reducing hypocholesterolemia risk largely depends microbiota homeostasis. Conclusion supplement could be a option preventing related metabolic syndromes.
