摘要: Abstract Objective. Mucin 4 (MUC4) is a transmembrane glycoprotein that expressed in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC), but not normal tissue. MUC4 has proposed role tumor progression and metastasis. The purpose of this pilot study was to investigate expression during PDAC metastasis by comparing the primary paired lymph node metastases from same patient. Material methods. Surgical specimens 17 cases were immunohistochemically analyzed for expression. modified histochemical score (H-score) used staining assessment. Results. Positive detected most metastatic tumors (15/17 vs. 14/17). concordance corresponding 82%. In two cases, MUC4-positive negative, while one patient with MUC4-negative tumor, positive. distribution H-score significantly correlated (r = 0.615; p 0.009) between lesions. Conclusions: observed both matched high level concordance, suggesting retained following (Less)
