摘要: Background Gallbladder carcinoma is a relatively rare malignancy with poor prognosis. We have often encountered patients in whom the course of their disease differed substantially from what would be predicted based on clinical staging, which highlights needs to consider additional predictive factors. occurs more frequently women than men, yet expression estrogen receptor (ER) and progesterone (PR) not been studied. applied an immunohistochemical stain examine ER(α), ER(β), PR radically resected gallbladder carcinoma. Material methods immunohistochemically investigated 30 specimens adenocarcinoma tissues using antibodies. Results Adenocarcinoma negative for both ER(α) PR. However, 22 cases (73.3%) were confirmed positive was significantly correlated tumor differentiation. Five-year survival rates ER(β) 53.3% 31.1%, respectively ( P = 0.034). In multivariate analysis, only low proportion score status statistically significant factor 0.033). Conclusions Evaluation may important identifying prognostic group
