摘要: Ulcerative colitis (UC) is an inflammatory disease that specifically affects the colon. primarily treated medically and refractory with proctocolectomy ileal pouch-anal anastomosis (IPAA). Gastroenterologists advise against digital rectal exams, pelvic radiation therapy, transrectal ultrasound (TRUS) biopsies of prostates patients. Any form pouch manipulation can lead to severe bleeding, inflammation, pain. Urologists are therefore faced challenge doing a prostate biopsy without ultrasound. We report rare case patient who underwent in-bore transperineal MRI-guided prostate.
