摘要: The high-frequency scattering parameters and equivalent circuit for a gap on microstrip line are found by analyzing the problem with an accurate semi-analytical method in spectral domain, using even/odd mode analysis. analysis accounts radiation into space as well surface waves, both of which become more pronounced at higher frequencies. allows examination these two separate powers order to examine power loss mechanism gap. results remain even high frequencies where characteristic impedance becomes non-unique. only assumption is that length fairly small compared wavelength.
