摘要: SummaryThe present study reports the development of in vitro micropropagation protocols for Ekebergia capensis Sparrm., a species that produces unstorable recalcitrant (non-orthodox) seeds. Suitable were established shoots generated from nodal segments excised vitro-germinated seedlings, and adventitious intact roots. Difficulties experienced when attempts made to micropropagate germplasm saplings. The developed have important applications conservation (cryopreservation clonal multiplication) this species.
