摘要: Cold spraying of pure Al powder on a Mg substrate together with subsequent post-spray annealing treatment produced Mg(17)Al(12) (beta-phase) and Mg(2)Al(3) (gamma-phase) intermetallic layers the surface substrate. These showed significantly better nanomechanical properties, including reduced elastic modulus nanohardness, which were determined using nanoindentation, than commercial purity AZ91 alloys. Combined their improved corrosion resistance, it is believed that both gamma-phase beta-phase can provide effective protection alloys from wear corrosion. The effect process formation thick, uniform dense was also investigated. (C) 2009 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
